Important points

  • The excess amounts shown against the cover are the amounts which you personally will be asked to pay for in respect of each claim.

  • The insurance does not cover veterinary fees for preventative and elective treatment, routine examinations, vaccinations, spaying, castration, pregnancy or giving birth.

  • Cats and dogs must be at least 8 weeks old to qualify for esure pet insurance.

  • Cover for illness starts 10 days after the inception date of the policy.

  • Third party liability cover only applies if you are not already covered by your household policy. It excludes injury to your family, household, employees or their property.

  • Insurance cover is only available in the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands).

  • Your insurance cover cannot be transferred to another pet.
