Making a pet insurance claim

Our pets are often amongst our best friends, so it's natural that we occasionally get worried about them. If you've any queries about your pet's health, just call our 24 hour Pet Health & Wellbeing helpline. The experienced veterinary staff will recommend how best to treat your pet.

You'd expect a company like esure to have a first class claims service and you'd be right. If you do need to make a claim, simply call our claims helpline on 0845 606 1390 (Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturday 9am -2pm). Please make sure that you have your policy number with you when you call. One of our friendly claims advisers will ask you for all the details and explain how to continue with your claim. We'll then send you a pre-filled claim form. You just need to check it , sign it and ask the vet to complete their section. Then return it to us and we'll do the rest.

Usually we'll pay the vet's costs (less any excess) directly to the vet. You just need to pay the vet the excess shown on your Schedule.
