esure promotes Stuart Vann

18th October 2010: esure’s Head of Insurance Risk and Acquisition, Stuart Vann, has been promoted to the new post of Chief Operating Officer – a role that oversees most of the company’s key operational functions – and has joined the company’s board as a director.

His previous role will be taken on by Jon Wilshire – currently Head of Corporate Analysis – who will manage Marketing, Risk and Underwriting, Pricing and Corporate Analysis, reporting into Stuart.

As part of the restructure, esure’s Head of IT, Mark Foulsham, takes on the management of Operations, reporting to Stuart who will also oversee Corporate Communications.

esure’s Chairman and CEO, Peter Wood said: “Stuart is an example of home-grown talent who has been with esure since the outset. In recent years, he has been pivotal in a number of major projects including our buy-out in February 2010."
