esure pet insurance is arranged and administered by BDML Connect Ltd, The Connect Centre, Kingston Crescent, Portsmouth PO2 8OL. esure Services Limited, The Observatory, Reigate, Surrey RH2 OSG acts as an introducer to BDML Connect Ltd. esure pet insurance is under written by AXA Insurance UK plc.

We do not give opinions or recommendations. We will give you information about a product but cannot make a decision for you.

Who regulates us?

BDML Connect Limited and esure Services Limited, are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA).

BDML Connect Ltd's FSA number is 309140.

Our permitted business is arranging general insurance contracts.

BDML holds money as agents for the insurer.

What to do if you need to complain

Please phone our Customer Service Department on 0845 606 1374 or write to The Ouality Manager, The Connect Centre, Kingston Crescent, Portsmouth PO2 8OL.

Should you remain dissatisfied with our response, you may approach the Financial Ombudsman Service, South Quay Plaza, 183 Marsh Wall, London E14 9SR 0845 080 1800.

Charges

Cancellation of the policy within the first 14 days of receipt of the policy documents
Providing there has not been a claim for the death/loss of your pet, we will refund all of the premium you have paid.

Cancellation of the policy after the first 14 days of receipt of the policy documents
esure pet insurance is a contract for twelve months. lf your insurance is cancelled for any reason after the first 14 days, a pro-rata charge will be made. lf a claim has been reported then there will be no refund of premium.

New business & renewal
£9.00 administrative charge is included within the premium.

Renewal information

Before the renewal date of your policy, we will provide you with details of the terms on which your policy may be renewed and the premium payable. lf you pay your premium by Direct Debit your policy will be automatically renewed. lf you do not wish to renew your policy you should tell us before your renewal date. lf you do not tell us and your policy is renewed, we will continue to make deductions from your bank account for the new premium.

Your duty to disclose

It is important that all information you give us verbally or in writing, in proposing for, renewing or making a claim, is full and correct (such as a previous illness or injury your pet may have had) and that you tell us about all relevant changes. Failure to do so could later invalidate your policy or claims made under it, or result in an increased premium or additional terms.

Data protection

For Data Protection Act purposes BDML Connect Ltd is the data controller. We will hold and process your personal data for insurance administration, marketing and statistical analysis. For these purposes, the information may also be passed to selected third parties, insurers and reinsurers, and may be processed outside the EEA.

You understand that all personal data you supply to us must be accurate. You can ask us for more information about this. At the request of many of our customers and to make managing insurance more convenient it is our policy to deal with your spouse or partner who calls on your behalf, provided they are named on the policy. lf you would like someone else to be able to deal with your policy for you on a regular basis, please let us know. In some exceptional circumstances we may also deal with other people who calll us on your behalf. lf at any time you would prefer us to deal with only you, please let us know.

esure Services Limited may contact you by post, email, phone or SMS to tell you about other products and services they offer and for market research purposes. lf you would prefer them not to contact you and have not previously told esure pet insurance, please write to the Data Protection Officer, esure pet insurance, The Observatory, Reigate, Surrey RH2 OSG or email them at DPO@esure.com. Please make sure you include your full name, address, date of birth and policy number where applicable.

You have the right to ask us for a copy of the information held about you in our records. You should write to esure pet information. You have the riqht to ask us to correct any inaccuracies in your information.

Law applicable to this policy

You and we are free to choose the law applicable to this contract. Your policy is governed by English law unless you and we have agreed otherwise.

Financial Services Compensation Scheme ('FSCS')

The Administrators and the Insurer are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim. Insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the first £2,000 and 9O% of the remainder of the claim or value of unused premium, without any upper limit.
